Volunteer NightJoin RECLAIM for Volunteer Night tomorrow, February 8! This will be a virtual meeting.
This volunteer meeting has two purposes: to orient new volunteers AND to start getting current volunteers (plus new ones!) up to speed on RECLAIM's biggest event, Celebrate the Love!
The new volunteer orientation will take place from 6:00pm-6:30pm on Wednesday, February 8.
At 6:30pm, we will have a volunteer all-call for those interested in helping with our Celebrate the Love event on February 25th, 2023 (and the weeks leading up to it). New volunteers are not required to stay for the CTL meeting, but are encouraged to do so to find out more about the event!
We will start with introductions, an overview of RECLAIM, and will talk through the types of volunteer opportunities RECLAIM has to offer! If you'd rather attend an in-person orientation, we will have an in-person orientation in March.

Celebrate the Love's featured performer is NUR-D!"One of the fastest rising stars in Minnesota's music scene, Nur-D burst onto the stage in 2018 and has been making headlines ever since. Performing on stages alongside national acts like Ludacris, Migos, Logic, Tyler The Creator, and The Wu Tang Clan Nur-D is well on his way to becoming a household name. Voted Best New MN Artist in 2019 (Citypages), Headlining The "Best New Bands" Show in 2020 (First Avenue), and being voted Best Live Concert 2021 (Citypages) AND Best MN Artist 2022 (Twin Cities Collective) Nur-D brings an explosion of energy every time he hits the stage. With five full length projects each with their own flair to his discography, Nur-D has something special for any occasion. Whether you're going out on the town with "Take My Picture", wanting to get cost ,with a special someone with "Chi-Chi", or you cue up "38th" or "Chicago Avenue" to experience the range of emotions that birthed from the Minneapolis uprising in 2021, Nur-D has something for you. Nur-D is a breath of fresh air in the Hip Hop world and fans are feeling the same. Boasting a fervent fan base across the US and around the globe, if you haven't heard the name Nur-D yet, you certainly will soon. Imagine the soulful sounds of Bruno Mars or Childish Gambino, the powerful energy of Lizzo, the pop culture punchlines of an episode of "Community", all rolled up into a show that everyone can enjoy ala The Fresh Prince then you would be able to see why many people are calling Nur-D the next big thing out of Minnesota."

Telling Queer History presents Polyamory and Circles of Care & ConnectionFrom our friends at Telling Queer HistoryPolyamory and Circles of Care & Connection
Sunday, February 12, 2023
2:00-4:00 PM CST
Virtual Event, All Ages, ASL interpreted, Substance Free, Sliding Fee Scale $0-$50
Summary: How do we create circles of care around us & live in circles of love that feel abundant? Join us to explore community, care, connection, & chosen love.
Our February love gatherings were born from a need for community and radical love. Polyamory and chosen circles of care are queer ways of loving. Not all polyamorous people are queer, but there is a strong kinship with queerness because of the chosen relationship structure, which is outside of the norm in the dominant culture systems of the western, colonized U.S., which do not benefit our lives, our loves, or our ways of living. As queer people, we have had to make our own families, so we really understand different ways of loving and choosing each other.
