Help us reach our goal of 500 climbers! |
We are striving to have 500 participants at this year's Seattle CF StairClimb, more than double the number of climbers last year! You can help us reach our goal by sharing information about the event, encouraging people to register, and growing your team. Let's fill the stairs at T-Mobile Park!

Team Spotlight: Maggie's Marchers |
|
|
Megan Gillespie, CF mom and team leader of Maggie’s Marchers, had a fantastic recruitment week for her team! Their team has 29 climbers and they have raised $2,975 so far! How did she do it?!?
1. Created a plan.
Megan worked with her CFF staff partner, Kristi, to strategize on how to build the team and recruit new members. Together, they decided a “flash sale” discount code made specially for her team would motivate people to sign up now. The code gave participants on her team $20 off the registration fee for one week only. The code dates gave Megan a timeline to work on, too.
|
| |
|
| 2. Customized her team page.
Megan made sure her team page was ready to go before the code was active so she would be ready to share the link and recruit her climbers on day 1 of the code. She added a picture of who she climbs for and shared why the CF Foundation’s mission is important to her. She also added details about the event that would get people excited to join her.
3. Made the ask!
Megan posted the event info, the discount code and the link to join her team in her PNW Women’s Hiking Facebook Group and asked the members to register to climb with her. She was blown away by the response: not just with the number of climbers who joined her team, but with their generosity and donations!
