Dear Neighbors,
It’s Family Weekend at TCU, and we’re excited to welcome Horned Frog families to campus! It will be a busy weekend filled with activities, traditions and plenty of TCU spirit. As our campus and surrounding neighborhoods welcome more visitors, we appreciate your continued partnership in making our community a great place to live, learn and cheer on the Frogs. Please share with your respective residents and neighborhood associations.

TCU vs. Arkansas State | Saturday at 7 p.m.
The Horned Frogs return to Amon G. Carter Stadium Saturday for a 7 p.m. kickoff against Arkansas State University. Because it’s Family Weekend, neighbors can expect a busy campus and increased traffic throughout the area.
What neighbors should know:

- Game week preparations: Band rehearsals, sound checks and other preparations will take place leading into Saturday.

Parking and traffic: Parking lots will open five hours before kickoff, at 2 p.m., and close 90 minutes after the game. Stadium Drive, between North Bellaire Drive and West Cantey Street, will close at noon and remain closed until 30 minutes after the game ends. Tailgating must conclude by 11 p.m. under city ordinance.

Possible Flyover: A pregame flyover is still being determined. If one takes place, neighbors may hear aircraft noise shortly before kickoff.
- Fireworks: Fireworks will be especially noticeable following Horned Frog touchdowns and may also occur during pregame activities, halftime and after the game.

New stadium lighting: The new LED lighting system, with color-changing effects and light shows during the game, are new to game day experience this season. Read more.

Neighbor to Neighbor: September Meeting Update
TCU’s Neighbor to Neighbor Committee met Sept. 9, bringing together neighborhood leaders, TCU representatives, city staff and law enforcement to share updates and discuss issues affecting the neighborhoods surrounding campus. The program is focused on maintaining strong communication and positive relationships between TCU students and their off-campus neighbors.
Highlights from the meeting included the following:

- Housing and enrollment: TCU shared updates on continued enrollment growth and new on-campus housing developments expected to open in 2027. Residents also discussed off-campus student housing and communication with students about being good neighbors.
- Neighborhood concerns: Parking, bulk waste, noise and other quality-of-life issues remain priorities with residents, TCU, police and property owners continuing to work together on solutions.

Staying connected: The group discussed ways to strengthen communication among residents, TCU and student organizations, as well as the process for submitting concerns through TCU’s Neighborhood Comment Form.

Saturday’s Family Weekend game against Arkansas State is officially sold out! Fans looking for tickets can find seats through SeatGeek, TCU Athletics’ official secondary market. Fans attending are encouraged to wear purple!
