Visit Owatonna Gets Crisis Grant

Gov. Tim Walz announced that over $1 million in crisis grants for the Minnesota tourism industry are available. Last week Visit Owatonna was notified that it was awarded $17,500 from the  Phase II Explore Minnesota Tourism Crisis Marketing Grant Program. The grant program is designed to support nonprofit tourism promotion organizations, so they can continue to stimulate travel for the economic benefit of their communities. The grant is based on Owatonna’s past consumption of the marketing programs.  Here is how awards were determined.
