- Participate in a service project and honor our planet for Earth Day of Service on Saturday, April 19, 10:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Register beforehand.
- Join other Ducks at the Oregon State Capitol in Salem on Thursday, April 24, for UO Day at the Capitol! Meet with legislators and help advocate for UO programs. Round-trip transportation provided. Save your spot by Tuesday, April 15.
- Get an adrenaline rush following the stories of outdoor adventurers during the Banff Film Festival, April 28–29, 7:00 p.m. at McDonald Theatre (1010 Willamette Street). Student tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.

- UO Libraries is seeking proposals from students to create Tiny Gallery installations for the 2025–26 academic year—use your artistic talent to showcase learning and engage with the community! The submission deadline is May 16, by 11:30 p.m.
- Alum Jana Schmieding, Lakota comedian-actor-writer, has made the journey from struggling artist to success story and vocal champion of Natives in film, TV, and comedy. She’ll share what she has learned along the way as keynote speaker for the university’s 148th commencement ceremony.

- The Washington Post journalist E.J. Dionne Jr. will give a lecture titled “What Does It Mean to Defend Democracy Now?” tonight at 5:00 in 175 Knight Law Center.

- Who is the man you want to be? Connect with men while discussing masculinity in the workshop Man Talk. The first session is Tuesday, April 15, 4:30–6:00 p.m. in the Umpqua Room (141 EMU). Snacks provided.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS
- Eating Disorder Awareness and Support hosts their peer-led food and body support group on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Collegiate Recovery Center (331 EMU). All are welcome to join these discussions about food, body, and wellness.
