Time and space unravel in PSU theater’s production of ‘A Dream Play’
PSU's theater program presents Caryl Churchill's new version of ‘A Dream Play,’ by August Strindberg. Agnes, the daughter of Hindu god Indra, descends to earth wanting to understand human suffering by becoming human. Her time on Earth moves like a dream. She meets many characters on her journey, but in this dream-life, they split, double, evaporate and reappear as she and they move through time and space, one moment moving forward, the next moment in the past, or suddenly in a different place, together or apart. Performances are May 25 to June 3 in the Lincoln Hall Boiler Room Theater (LH55). Free for PSU students; $15 general admission. Tickets: pdx.edu/boxoffice.
