Remote Evaluation Keeps Your Patients Moving Safely

Before COVID-19 forced the world to find technology-based solutions to provide service remotely, NSM was already doing it for thousands of clients across the country. In fact, last month over 25% of our clients, along with their Clinical Care Team, chose to complete their new equipment evaluation via a remote methodology and found that it was medically appropriate and the safest option for them.

Now, with COVID-19, remote evaluations may prove to be the safest option to serve your patients. Your patients' safety and our employees' safety are our top priorities. It may not be appropriate for every encounter, but we consider it as our first option to keep safety at the forefront of everything we do.

As the pandemic continues, so does our monitoring of the payer guideline changes in response to COVID-19. NSM has been working closely with Medicare and the large, national commercial payers to understand the payer guideline changes.
