Worship on the Lawn, Trick or Treat Trail, and Chili Cook-Off!
Thank you to everyone who made Sunday's activities possible, from those who set up, participated in, and packed up for Worship on the Lawn, to our Bridge and Youth for their help with our Trick or Treat Trail, and all our Chili cooks. It was a close count between the top 3 cooks; Clara Kirk, Caroline Pickle, and Jennifer Heath, but the winner was Jennifer and her charity of choice, MS Food Network. See you next year!
Congregational Care Team meets this Sunday, November 1 immediately following worship.  This monthly group meets in room 108 off the Garden Room to pray for members of our church family and write notes of encouragement and support.  You don't have to be a member of the care team to come to one of the monthly gatherings nor do you have to come every month. If you want to be a part of this comforting ministry, we invite you to join any month you are able on the first Sunday following worship.
Start Grabbing Cans of Fruit Now for our November Communion Offering: MadCAAP Thanksgiving Boxes

It is that time again to aid MadCAAP in offering a Thanksgiving meal to those who may not be able to make it happen this year and those who struggle daily with food insecurity.  We know it is a little early, but as you are out and about, go ahead and start picking up 14 or 15 oz cans of fruit and bringing them to church. This will be our November communion offering and will help MadCAAP provide a wonderful Thanksgiving box to families. Our goal is 700 cans. Cans are due by Sunday, November 15. Monetary donations can be given November 1-30.
Our children would love for you to volunteer to teach them, even just one Sunday!  This is a small commitment with a great reward! Follow the link to sign up and bring a friend.
There are still a few Wednesday nights left! Hope you will join us. Meal at 5:45 pm, Activities at 6:20 pm.
