James
by Percival Everett
"By the author of Erasure, recently adapted as the acclaimed film American Fiction, Everett's new novel James offers a dignified take from a slave's perspective on the classic Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain. It's a quick read, but it packs a punch. Thoughtful, imaginative, with a couple of curve balls."
