If you picked up a star at our Epiphany service Sunday, you have some homework this week. I'd like you to look up your word and read all of its definitions. Also, check out synonyms and antonyms for your word. Does exploring its meaning shed any new light on why you may have picked it up? Also, can you think of anywhere in Scripture where this word was mentioned, or at least implied? How might that change the way you see the word? By the way, if you didn't make it Sunday, you'll have another chance to pick up your star this next Sunday. (Bob Roberts asked if I had written the word, "Hotty Toddy" on a star. No, Bob. I did not.) If you wish, let this word guide you like a star, as you journey toward your epiphany in 2016! -Bruce

Wednesday Night Dinner and Programs resume next week!

Yarn Ministry
Wondering how to get involved in 2016? How about joining the yarn ministry? We knit and crochet beautiful items to give to anyone who needs to feel a little hug from God! Most work is done at home at your own pace, to suit your own schedule; but we get together once every other month to share tips and patterns, pray over finished items, and just enjoy catching up with one another. The next meeting will be Saturday, January 16th from 9 to noon. If this is a skill you would like to share, (or would like to learn!), join us at Ann Weissenborn's home Saturday the 16th.

This is a great tool if you miss a Sunday, if you need a reminder of a sermon that meant a lot to you, or if there is a sermon you would like to share with friends.
