Adult Protective Training will outline the role of Adult Protective Services (APS) in cases involving abuse, neglect, and exploitation of incapacitated and dependent adults,
including how to contact APS and what the process of an APS investigation entails. The session will also cover risk factors and red flags of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Child Protective Training promotes child safety by increasing the knowledge and understanding of Mandated Reporters. This training explains the process for reporting
child abuse and neglect as well as why this is so important. It reviews the signs of child abuse and neglect including identifying red flags. Included in the training will be an
explanation of what might happen after a report is made.
