UO EVENTS
  • Check out the new exhibition opening on Saturday, Aug. 9, of paintings by James Lavadour showcasing the beauty of Eastern Oregon. Admission to the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art is free for students with their UO ID card.
  • Cheer on the Ducks at the first game of the women’s soccer regular season on Thursday, Aug. 14, at Papé Field at 6:30 p.m. Student ticket distribution begins Monday, Aug. 11, at 9:00 a.m. Otherwise, general admission tickets are $5. 
  • Get tickets to see Grammy-nominated artist Tracy Bonham at the UO Ticket Office in the EMU for $25. The concert is at WOW Hall on Friday, Aug. 22, with doors opening at 7:00 p.m.
  • Are you a graduate student who loves to write? Consider registering for the Fall 2025 Writing Challenge by Friday, Aug. 29, where you’ll write daily and support others’ work from across the US.
  • Browse the vibrant and imaginative illustrations by artist Ana Leovy in the EMU’s Adell McMillan Gallery.

  • Fall registration and waitlists reopen for continuing students on Monday, Aug. 25, at 10:00 a.m.
  • If your parent, legal guardian, or support person no longer has proxy access to your student information, check if their access has expired in DuckWeb by locating the “Stop Date.” Students are the only people that can update or authorize access to others.
  • Four UO faculty members have received Fulbright US Scholar Program awards for upcoming research projects around the world on AI, food security, and nanotechnology.
