UO EVENTS
  • Interested in archaeology? Drop into the Museum of Natural and Cultural History tonight between 5:30 and 7:30 to chat with their archaeologists and view artifacts. Free with UO student ID.
  • Sit in for the free reading of a new play Kitty & the Crescent Moon on Friday, March 7, or Saturday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. in Hope Theatre.
  • Reflect on our shared humanity at UO Dance in Concert with different genres of dance. Tickets are $5 each with UO student ID. Performances are tonight; Friday, March 7; and Saturday, March 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dougherty Dance Theatre. 
  • Watch six groups play and compete in Battle of the Bands at WOW Hall on Saturday, March 8, for $10 from the UO Ticket Office in the EMU. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
  • Spend some time appreciating nature at the Winter Wildlife Field Day on Sunday, March 9, 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. beginning at the Frohnmayer Bridge. Go on guided nature walks, join scavenger hunts, and learn at a workshop.
  • Let's celebrate the sun's return! The Spring Fling Drag and Dance Party will have music, dancing, drag, and food. Students get two free tickets. Come by the EMU Ballroom on Tuesday, March 11, 7:00–10:00 p.m.
NOTEWORTHY
  • Registration is now open for spring term Duck Corps teams. Make an impact on the community in a way that is meaningful to you.
  • Student Health Benefits Plan open enrollment is happening now for spring term 2025 and will close Wednesday, April 9. Only new UO students or those who have experienced an involuntary loss of qualifying coverage are eligible for spring open enrollment.
  • Check Engage for an assortment of events, workshops, groups, and sports games. You can also find a club to join—anything from a crochet club to a Dungeons and Dragons club.
  • Become a Duck Trails camp counselor this summer! Apply before the application closes on Wednesday, April 30.
TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
  • Men are invited to join Varsity Practice, a group meeting on Wednesdays at 3:30–5:00 p.m. that teaches skills for healthy relationships to themselves and others while building community. Complete the interest form if you would like to join.
  • Learn about your grief process and connect with other students navigating loss in the Living with Loss Support Group on Mondays, 3:00–4:30 p.m. A pre-group orientation meeting is required.
