Ebell Scholarship
The Ebell/Flint Scholarship is a $5,000 renewable award, open to undergrads of any major, and who are residents of LA County. Recipients are chosen based on financial need, academic achievement, and community service/leadership. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and have a min GPA of 3.25. Apply by April 4. Future Rising Fellowship- Deadline: March 10! Future Rising Fellows are changemakers ages 17-24 from all over the world. During their year-long Fellowship, they receive financial, professional, and creative support, participate in monthly convenings and storytelling workshops, and create narrative work about gender equity and climate change. The Fellowship runs from June 2022 - May 2023; fellows typically devote 15 hours per week during the first 2 months and 5 hours per week after September 2022. Each fellow will receive a stipend of $5,000 and can apply for a small additional grant for direct project expenses and materials.

VOICES Summer Fellowship- Deadline: March 31! A fellowship program that provides aspiring journalists with career-ready skills to succeed in the continually-evolving media landscape. At its core, the program’s mission is to help a diverse group of aspiring journalists understand how audiences engage with them, how communities view the work they produce, and how they can understand the impact their work has. This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students interested in journalism. We are looking for students who are interested in producing a long-form, in-depth news project over the course of the summer. Reporters, social media strategists, designers, developers, data engineers, podcasters, broadcasters, bloggers are all welcome to apply.

Davis-Putter Scholarship Fund- Deadline: April 1! Davis-Putter provides scholarships to students active in movements for social and economic justice. These need-based scholarships are awarded to students who are active in the struggle against racism, sexism, homophobia and other forms of oppression; building the movement for economic justice; and creating peace through international anti-imperialist solidarity. Applicants must have participated in activities in the US, and there is a strong preference for applicants who plan on working in this country. The maximum grant available is $15,000 per year (from July 1 through June 30). Open to international students, U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, and DACA/AB540 students.

ASM Global Stars Scholarship Program- Deadline: April 12. ASM is committed to providing diverse and under-resourced communities with educational and career development opportunities through scholarship awards and prospective internships. This year, the program is awarding $2,500 scholarships for up to 20 students. Applicants to the ASM Global Stars Scholarship Program must:
- Self-identify as one or more of the following: Female (any race/ethnicity), Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Hispanic or Latino, Asian, Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander
- Be pursuing a degree in one of the following areas of study (or similar): Business/International Business (Marketing, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources); Hospitality/Entertainment/Sports Management; Communications/Public Relations/Digital Media; Information Technology; or Graphic Design

Millennium Oceans Prize- Priority Deadline: April 15. Offers support and celebrates students who are passionate about conserving, protecting, and sustainably using oceans, seas, and marine water and life. Prize winners will receive mentorship and a $5,000 prize for the implementation of a concrete campaign idea to spark change and garner support in advocacy, policy, and leadership for oceans, freshwater systems, sustainable fishing, and marine conservation. We are looking for campaign ideas that are concrete and can rally your peers to mobilize in this sector. Your campaign could take shape through activism, social entrepreneurship, or research.

PSU Center for Climate and Aerosol Research: REU SITE- Deadline: March 18! Our PSU CCAR REU site is focused on conducting research projects related to atmospheric science, particularly atmospheric chemistry, physics, air quality, meteorology, and climate change. Research experiences are designed for students majoring in the natural/physical sciences but we do not expect students have a background in atmospheric science.

MathILy-EST- Deadline: April 5. An 8-week, fully-funded intensive summer research experience for exceptional first-year college students. Have you excelled in inquiry-based learning classes? Did you spend your pre-college career studying mathematics for fun? Do you want to try research in mathematics, but are too early in your college career to have the formal prerequisites that most research programs require? If your answer to any of those questions is yes, then MathILy-EST is for you. Participants receive a $3800 stipend, plus on-campus housing and meals if MathILy-EST is in person, or a meal allowance if MathILy-EST is online.

CDM Smith Scholarship Program- Deadline: April 18. The CDM Smith Scholarship Program is awarding scholarships of up to $7,500 to engineering undergraduates and graduates who strive to be the best, brightest and boldest they can be. To apply, you must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.

The NCAA Graduate Student Research Grant Program- Deadline: May 2. Provides funding for graduate student research examining the role of intercollegiate athletics in higher education and the college student-athlete psychosocial experience. Grants are set at a maximum of $7,500 and are available to graduate students enrolled at NCAA-member institutions. Read the Call for Proposals.

OTV Fellowship- Deadline Extended to March 7! A career-long education and mentorship-based program —led by the OTV Leadership Team and the Integrity Board — that empowers emerging storytellers to share their bravery with the world through independently produced web series, short film, video art and proof-of-concepts. Curated by award-winning artists and creators, the fellowship is designed to support the fellows with completing a piece of work that they are currently producing. Fellows receive a $10,000 stipend to support in producing a project in, LATE PRE-PRODUCTION, PRODUCTION or POST-PRODUCTION stage.

Masaryk Virtual Diplomatic Program
The Embassy of the Czech Republic welcomes applicants for the two-month-long virtual Masaryk Diplomatic Program, designed for US university students as well as recent graduates interested in diplomacy, transatlantic relations, and U.S. relations with the Czech Republic. The program consists of a series of workshops led by diplomats of the Czech Embassy in Washington and in the preparation and presentation of projects that will help deepen Czech-American relations and mutual cooperation. All of the workshops will be held on Thursdays at 4 pm in April - May 2022. Open to US Citizens. Learn more.

Gilman Climate Leaders Virtual and Overseas Seminar Series
TThe Gilman Climate Leaders Virtual Seminar Series will consist of eight ninety-minute live virtual seminars, with one seminar per week. The series will be presented by Duke University’s Energy Initiative and Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and funded for the U.S. Department of State's Gilman Program.
The goal of this interdisciplinary series is to enhance attendees' understanding of the climate crisis through a foreign policy lens, including its social, political, and economic impacts, with an eye towards environmental sustainability from the extensive expertise of speakers from Duke University and other institutions, who have a wide range of professional and academic experience. Attendees will also be provided with tools and resources to advocate for more sustainable practices and policies within their local communities. There is no fee to attend these seminars and one may attend the entire series or individual events. Events will also be recorded and shared with registrants. Learn more.

LMU Undergraduate Library Research Awards
The purpose of these awards is to recognize and reward LMU undergraduate students whose research makes expert and creative use of the services, resources, and collections of the William H. Hannon Library to produce a scholarly or creative work. For 2022, a prize of $1,000 will be awarded to the first place undergraduate project, $1,500 to the best group project, and $450 to two honorable mentions. Learn more.
