Mount Named Top College (North) by U.S. News and World Report

Mount Saint Mary College was recently recognized as a top school in the 2022-2023 U.S. News Best Colleges rankings.

Mount Alumnus Named Community Champion by United Way

Mount grad Andrew O’Grady ’88, LCSW-R, CEO of Mental Health America of Dutchess County, was named a Community Champion on September 14 by the United Way.  Read more.

Mount Student Interns with the New York Jets

Mount Saint Mary College senior and lifelong sports lover Maggie-Ann Zecca of Mountainside, N.J. recently landed an internship with the New York Jets. 

It was a dream come true, she explained: “I received a call and email to see if that position of Staff Event Planner would be one of interest to me. I replied with a resounding yes, yes, yes!”  Read more.

New Cybersecurity Center

The Center for Cybersecurity at Mount Saint Mary College will provide program guidance and oversight to the college’s Cybersecurity major and concentration; bring expert speakers to campus; provide cyber defense resources to the campus and the community; and more. The initiative will be maintained by the college’s Division of Mathematics & Information Technology and supported by an external advisory board of local and national industry professionals, as well as faculty from the Mount and other institutions. Read more.

Scoreboard Dedication

Mount Saint Mary College held a dedication ceremony for the campus’s new baseball and softball field scoreboard on Sunday, September 25, during the college’s annual Alumni Reunion Weekend. 

The unveiling, taking place between alumni baseball and softball games, gathered the Mount community to honor and thank the donors for their commitment, support, and leadership in making the scoreboard a fully donor-funded project. Read more.
