Brown Explores Drawdown Georgia Business Compact in New Book Chapter |
Marilyn A. Brown, Regents Professor and Brook Byers Professor of Sustainable Systems in the School of Public Policy, has a new book chapter published in Higher Education and SDG17: Partnerships for the Goals, edited by Georgia Tech President Ángel Cabrera. The chapter explores the process and building blocks that culminated in the launch of the Drawdown Georgia Business Compact, a partnership advancing collective action for climate mitigation.

Associate Dean Shatakshee Dhongde and Professor Haizheng Li, both faculty members in the School of Economics, presented papers at the Society for Economic Measurement conference in Milan, Italy, on July 1. The society's next annual conference will be held at Georgia Tech in August 2024.
