Your generosity makes our library better!
A special thanks to the over 600 community members who gave of their time and talents this past year to support the library’s programs, services and events! Volunteers tutored adults and kids, taught Go Club, created teen programming, captured oral histories, delivered books to homes, provided tech help, stocked our bookstore, and so much more.
"Our Spoons Came From Woolworths" by Barbara Comyns
"Comyns' writing is utterly unique and so good, and fortunately, much of her work has recently been rediscovered and republished. Our Spoons Came from Woolworths is quirky, sharp-witted, and darkly funny, all with a fairytale ending. I want to read everything she has written."--Jennifer, Main Library
A patron visiting the Meadows Branch walked up to the front desk and quietly said to Cassie, "This is best place in the world."
A kid asked me, "Do you have books that teach you how to take care of a Rancor?" I love my job!! - Melanie at Main
