Welcome      Grow       Serve      Celebrate

The Season of Lent begins with our Ash Wednesday service this evening.  We will be invited into the season of Lent, into a season of spiritual disciplines. This service will be live-streamed at parkwayhillsumc.online.church and drive-thru ashes will be offered immediately following the service until 7:45 pm.

This Lent may we all remember, celebrate and practice embodied faith. Each Sunday in Lent we will lift a story of Jesus and reflect on what Jesus has to teach us about practicing embodied faith.  During each week of Lent, we invite you to find your own way to practice embodied faith.  We will give you some ideas (be on the lookout for a mailing!), but feel free to listen to how and where and in what way the Spirit is calling you. We know Covid is still very much a reality so everyone must make their own health decisions to remain safe. No matter how you choose to walk through this season, we all walk it together. May we observe a Holy Lent. May we practice embodied faith.
This Sunday: Luke 4:1-13/WhenTempted, Jesus Chooses Us.    Dawn

Chef Jean Dunn and her crew (some pictured here) produced a fabulous pancake supper for PHUMC Mardi Gras (Shrove Tuesday) evening.
Emerson Weiland says pancakes are yummy.
Shrove Tuesday pancakes: table talk made supper extra fun.
