There has been a correction to the market study requirements for the 2025 9% Housing Tax Credit application. The rent burden requirement in Appendix O has been changed from 30 percent to 35 percent.
Correct Rent Burden Requirement:
The market analyst shall use a rent burden of 35 percent of a household’s monthly income for demand and capture rate calculations.
An updated Appendix O has been updated on the Housing Tax Credit web page.
