Now that we've shoveled our way out of that big winter storm, I'm excited to see our campus and Athens filled with friends and family this weekend for Sibs Weekend. Those joining us can catch an OHIO Hockey game, attend the Sibs Social, watch a movie at the Athena Cinema and more! Make sure to check out the whole calendar of events.Â
This time of year it's important for your student to check in on themselves. Maybe they're looking for ways to get moving in the cold, wanting to explore a new place to study, looking for someone to talk to, or needing help with meals. Whatever it may be, we're here to support them.
Now is also a good time to start thinking about what their housing situation for next year might look like and check in on their Graduation Plan progress. It's okay to reconsider a major or explore a new certificate program! We have a whole team to support their journey.
I hope to see some of you this weekend!

| Students invited to share their stories |
Humans of OHIO is a positive storytelling project created to build community and resilience on our college campus. We invite students to share brief reflections on their journeys- their struggles, victories and what kept them going. Their story could inspire hope and strength in others.Â
