A transformative gift of $1 million from the Estate of Virginia Powers, in loving memory of her son, Stephen Powers '87, is revolutionizing opportunities for students in Iona University's Computer Science Department.

The keynote speaker was Jeffrey Saviano '89, a Principal with EY and the EY Emerging Technology Strategy & Governance Leader. His talk – entitled “Winning the AI Race: Where Strategy Meets Governance and Ethical Intelligence” – provided a business leader’s insight into how AI is transforming boardroom conversations on strategy, governance and ethics.

Michael Testa '04 has built a remarkable career in finance, culminating in his recent appointment as chief financial officer of Trinity Capital Inc., a leading provider of diversified financial solutions to growth-stage companies. 

The LaPenta School of Business welcomed over 30 alumni from various fields including HR, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, and Business Analytics to speak in undergraduate classes, sharing their career journeys and success tips for our annual Career Chats.

A NewYork-Presbyterian psychoanalyst explains how the act of being thankful can improve your physical and mental health, as well as your relationships.
