PianoSummer at New Paltz is an international summer program dedicated solely to piano music. It features an integrated approach to learning and performance under the artistic direction of master pianist and teacher Vladimir Feltsman. Gifted students from around the world join with devoted musicians and teachers to learn more about the art of the piano and, ultimately, more about themselves and their place in the world of music.

Daria Rabotkina Recital

The very first winner of PianoSummer’s Jacob Flier Piano Competition, Rabotkina has received top prizes at countless international competitions and festivals, and was lauded by the Plain Dealer as “a pianist full of fire and warmth.” She has served as an associate professor of piano at Texas State University since 2016, and will join the Cleveland Institute of Music faculty in fall 2024.

Alexander Korsantia Recital

Since winning top prizes at the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition and the Sidney International Piano Competition, Korsantia’s career has taken him to countless major concert halls around the world. The Daily Telegraph called him “a quiet maverick,” and the Boston Globe said his interpretation of “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Modest Mussorgsky is “a performance that could annihilate all others one has heard.”
