Meat From Cells, Not Animals

Cellular agriculture is the production of commodities (e.g., meat, dairy) from cell cultures rather than whole organisms. Scaling these innovations could alleviate many of the negative externalities of traditional agriculture, such as public health epidemics and animal welfare concerns. Join cellular agriculture scientist Natalie Rubio on Thursday, November 10, at 12 noon in the Curtis Hall Multipurpose Room to discuss these topics and more! Attend in-person or virtually; free pizza will be served.
