Celebrating Ten Years in the Hartelco Building
We will have popcorn, snacks, and refreshments available to the public. If you would like to have a tour of our building, any of our employees would love to show you around! Stop on in! Our sister store Yankton Computer and Network Services was contacted by Make-A-Wish Foundation about helping a young boy in South Dakota who requested a state-of-the-art gaming PC. Our amazing computer technician Matthew was there to help make his dream come true! We were so fortunate to be a part of such an amazing experience in assisting in this boy's dream.
The look on his face is priceless! The Make-A-Wish is a nonprofit organization founded in the United States that creates life-changing wishes for children with a critical illness. In the United States a wish is granted every 34 minutes. We were so honored to help out such an amazing cause. Spam messages account for more than half of email traffic worldwide. Short of cutting yourself off from the internet, there's no way to eliminate spam entirely. But there are steps you can take to reduce how much of it you see: 1. Train your filter. When you find spam in your inbox, don't just delete it. Select it, and tell your mail client that this particular message is spam. How you do this depends on your client. Hartelco also offers a filter you can add for only $1 a month. 2. Never respond to spam. If you recognize something as spam before you open it, don't open it. If you open it and then realize it's spam, close it. Do not click a link or a button, or download a file, from a message that you even remotely suspect is spam. If you opened a spam message because it appeared to be coming from a friend or co-worker, contact them immediately and let them know that their account has been compromised. 3. Hide your email address. The more people who have your email address, the more spam you're going to get. So keep your address close to your chest. Don't publish it on the web unless absolutely necessary and use a different address for that purpose. The Cedar County Fair is July 17th - 21st!
