Open Enrollment for SEHP Plan Year 2025 runs from Oct. 1 - 31, 2024. For medical plan coverage for next year, all employees need to make an election in the Membership Admin Portal (MAP). Information about the SEHP is available in the 2025 Enrollment Guide and the 2025 Plan Rates and Health Plan Comparison Highlights Chart.
The SEHP Open Enrollment website has on-demand Open Enrollment and vendor videos to provide additional information about the available plans and options.

KU’s AAAS Fellows Celebrated at D.C. Gala |
KU was well-represented at the 150th Anniversary AAAS Fellows Gala Sept. 21 in Washington, D.C.
American Association for the Advancement of Science fellows are selected for their scientific excellence, achievement and service to society. This year, KU welcomed three new fellows: Donna Ginther, Bala Subramaniam and Kristin Bowman-James. KU currently hosts 30 fellows.
Other KU fellows in attendance were Candan Tamerler, Sharon Billings, Ilya Vakser, Allard Jongman, James Kindscher (KUMC), A. Townsend Peterson and Joan Sereno. Matthias Salathe (KUMC), Shelley Hooks and Robin Lehman also attended as representatives of KU leadership.

| Sharon Billings Presents Inaugural Lecture
|
Sharon Billings, a University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology, will present her inaugural lecture, "Predicting Ecosystems of the Future with the Forests and Grasslands of Today" at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Billings' lecture will be held in the Beren Petroleum Conference Center at Slawson Hall.

| Leading Yourself Through Workplace Change

HR is pleased to announce a class designed to help employees navigate workplace change.
Workplace change often causes stress and can leave us feeling lost, sad or overwhelmed; fortunately, adjusting to change effectively is a skill we can improve. Guided by the Wendling Liminal Pathways Change Framework, this class will discuss tools and techniques to support and lead yourself through times of change.
The class is offered in person on Thursday, Oct. 24 and via Zoom on Tuesday, Nov. 19.
