| From playing on the UNF soccer fields to covering the U.S. National Team, Sara Walsh has done it all!
The broadcast communications major joined UNF as part of the inaugural women's soccer class. She started as a sportswriter for the Beaches Leader newspaper in Jacksonville Beach and worked her way toward an on-air gig as the sports director for the ABC affiliate in Macon, Georgia. After stops at the ABC affiliate in Nashville and the CBS affiliate in Washington, D.C., Walsh joined ESPN as a SportsCenter anchor in 2010. She then spent several years working for NFL on Fox while hosting Fox’s soccer coverage.
She works as an anchor and reporter for the NFL Network and is a host for all U.S. Soccer National Team coverage on TNT and Max. Learn more.

| In preparation for the World Cup, UNF alumnus and former Norway Women's National Team head coach Martin Sjögren shares his first-hand experience with us!
The Osprey men's soccer player transitioned into coaching, starting as an assistant in the Swedish premier league. Over the next decade, he won championships as head coach of two different clubs before being offered the head coaching position from the Norwegian Football Federation.
After finishing at the top of its UEFA qualification group, Norway earned their spot in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France, entering as the No. 12 team internationally. Learn more.

Connor currently serves as the deputy superintendent and chief academic officer for Hillsborough County Public Schools, where he has played a significant role in shaping the district’s academic, financial, operational and community engagement decisions. Learn more.

Salameh, a UNF School of Communication alumna, joined the News4Jax team in June as a member of the I-TEAM and the consumer investigative reporter.
Salameh comes home to Jacksonville from WBND in South Bend, Indiana, where she was nominated for three Emmy awards for her reporting on community issues and politics. She previously won an Emmy for her anchoring during a winter storm in 2022. Learn more.

Cestero, UNF volleyball's all-conference honoree and program record holder, continues her career at the professional level after signing a contract to play in France with the Saint-Raphael Var Volley-Ball Dolphins.

The fourth head coach in UNF baseball's 36-year history is announced as Joe Mercadante is tabbed to lead the program. A native of Gainesville, Mercadante has extensive Florida roots having spent 17 years in coaching within the state across five different collegiate programs at the Division I, high school and travel ball levels.
