Dear Student,

In November, we announced that Loring Tu, a professor in the Tufts Department of Mathematics, made a significant gift to rename the Science and Engineering Complex (SEC) to Tsunming Tu Complex (TTC) in honor of his late grandfather, Tsungming Tu, a renowned medical scientist. We are grateful to Professor Tu for his generous support and commitment toTufts University.

We are now excited to share that a campus-wide celebration will take place on April 2, 2025, from 3 – 5 p.m. to formally dedicate the Tsungming Tu Complex. We encourage faculty, staff, and students to attend the special event. Details are below, including how to register by March 15.

We look forward to celebrating this momentous campus occasion with all of you and hope to see you on April 2.
