Exhibition Opening

Carolyn Abrams, featured in the Fall issue of Berkshire Magazine's The Art of It, will exhibit her work at The Guild of Berkshire Artists' new gallery in West Stockbridge. She is part of a three-woman show, “Soul Visions," featuring Abrams’ atmospheric soulscapes, Susan Sabino’s photos, and MJ Marx’s sculptures. More info

Pumpkins Galore

Wed–Sun through Oct. 31, 5-8:30 p.m.
The Incredible Naumkeag Pumpkin Show is back—this year with more pumpkins, more fun, and an expanded schedule! Explore the famous gardens as Naumkeag is transformed into a celebration of autumn with more than 1,500 jack-o'-lanterns, hundreds of mums, pumpkins, and countless gourds—most of which were grown on the premises. This year will feature parking on Main Street in Stockbridge and a short shuttle ride to the property. More info

The Poetry & Fiction Series at Bard College at Simon’s Rock begins today and is free and open to the public. All Poetry & Fiction Series readings will take place in the Blodgett House. The first reading will be with Dante Micheaux, author of Amorous Shepherd and Circus and the Amy Clampitt Poet in Residence in Lenox. More info

An Open House

The Westside Legends celebrates its “Buy Back our Neighborhood” program, which is the redevelopment of the Pittsfield’s Westside neighborhoods. Fall Foliage Parade

Sun Oct 2, 1 p.m.
1Berkshire presents the 66th Annual Northern Berkshire Fall Foliage Parade. The theme is "Holidays on Parade," and the Grand Marshals are the Arnolds and the Kings, two families who have brought good cheer and a festive spirit to the city of North Adams for decades. Be a spectator along the 1.2-mile parade route from the intersection of State Street and Old State Street, along Main Street, to the intersection of Ashland Street and Washington Avenue. More info

The Forgotten Nations

Learn about the Nations that called this land home, where they are now, and the thriving communities keeping their histories alive. Heather Bruegl, an Independent Indigenous Consultant and Historian, will give a talk at the Milne Public Library in Williamstown on "The Forgotten Nations: Native Tribes of New England." More info
