Dear parents and families:
The start of a new semester brings a special energy to campus, and it’s been great to welcome students back, see them reconnect with friends, explore new opportunities, and fill our spaces with excitement and purpose.
We are looking forward to seeing you during Parent and Family Weekend, Sept. 26-28. Come meet me at Dr. G’s Fun House on Sept. 26! Fun House events are offered throughout the academic year, featuring games, food, music and FUN! On Sept. 27, you will have a chance to hear from the chancellor in a fireside chat and to meet the Student Affairs leadership team for a panel discussion on issues facing today’s students. Learn about all the ways WashU supports your student.
There are many opportunities for your student to get engaged including our upcoming Fall Career Expo and Well-being Wednesdays. I look forward to seeing them. And, for those of you interested, we are introducing a program for parents and families, Dr. G's Book Club for Parents & Families.
I hope you find the newsletter below informative as it has important resources for you and your student.
Warmly,
Anna “Dr. G” Gonzalez
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
