Are you interested in business, social innovation, or health equity? Do you want best practices for your internship or job search? Join us for the launch of the new Industry Insights Speaker Series. On Monday, December 2, at 6 p.m., our inaugural speaker is Tufts Trustee and alumna Kalahn Taylor-Clark, PhD, J99, MG01, Vice President and Head of Social Business Innovation at Merck. Kalahn will speak about her career journey and share advice on preparing for the job market.

Students studying abroad in spring 2025 or who are interested in studying abroad are invited to join the Tufts Global Education staff on Tuesday, December 3, at 5:30–6:30 p.m. on Zoom to learn about how to budget for your semester or year abroad. Tips for booking flights and air travel will also be covered.

| Climate in the Roman World |
Join us on Thursday, December 5, at 12 noon to hear from our last Hoch Cunningham environmental speaker and one of Tufts' newest faculty, Professor Brandon McDonald, Classical Studies and Environmental Studies. Professor McDonald will discuss different factors that influence the understanding of climate in the Roman world. This talk will be livestreamed and recorded. Pavia and Chile Summer Application Priority Deadline |
If you are interested in our Pavia or Chile summer programs, make sure to submit your application by the end of today, December 1.

| Cherish Chinatown Challenge |
The 4th annual Cherish Chinatown Restaurant Challenge is now underway! From now through December 18, join Tufts University students, staff, and faculty in supporting small businesses in Boston's Chinatown by participating in the Challenge!
To enter the challenge, visit a locally owned Chinatown restaurant or bakery. After you make a purchase, enter into the challenge raffle. Each week, three raffle winners will be drawn to win $25 gift cards to Chinatown restaurants. At the end of the challenge, one grand prize winner will receive a $250 gift card to Shojo! Everyone who submits a photo will also be entered to win $50 to Bao Bao Bakery. With each new purchase, participants can submit another raffle entry.
