Reminder: The North Dakota Department of Commerce application program is now open for primary sector businesses wishing to utilize the Automation Tax Credit for automation equipment purchases made during the 2023 calendar year. Applicants are required to submit applications by Jan. 31 but are encouraged to begin preparing applications early.

To be eligible, applicants must have taken ownership of the automation equipment during the 2023 calendar year. Additionally, businesses applying must have held primary sector certification both at the time of purchase and throughout the application process.

LEAN ENTERPRISE HIGH PERFORMANCE MANUFACTURING TRAINING
The Impact Dakota LEHPM training helps businesses achieve higher profitability by building internal capability and capacity to improve QUALITY, COST, and DELIVERY. This training is based on the Lean Enterprise Certification (LECP) body of knowledge and uses standards developed and judged by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) in partnership with Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) and the Shingo Institute.

NDSC 51st Annual Safety + Health Conference to be held February 20-23 |

|
The North Dakota Safety Council is holding its 51st Annual Safety + Health Conference in Bismarck, February 20-23rd. This year’s Conference includes 59 speakers, 112 sessions and 3 keynotes. More than 100 Exhibitors will also be on hand. Impact Dakota’s Jodie Mjoen will be leading class B09, “Solving YOUR biggest Workforce Challenges by Being the Most Innovative Company, You Know.” Also featured is OSHA’s Travis Clark on Thursday. Course C22 will be a dive into “Warehouse Safety and OSHA’s Emphasis Program.”
