Last night was a big one for many students as their projects took over McCamish Pavilion at the Spring Capstone Design Expo. More than 1,300 students across 237 teams showcased their work from the semester, and three left with cash prizes. Read on for more.

Both projects sought to protect something: One created a portable defense against enemy drones, and the other designed a system to keep livers viable en route to transplant recipients. 

Undergraduate Elliot Huang has earned statewide acclaim as the Institute’s representative for the University System of Georgia’s Academic Recognition Day.

Karen Rommelfanger will work with the Institute for Neuroscience, Neurotechnology, and Society to embed neuroethics into the research and technology ecosystem.
