Educate Your Borrowers from the Start with Our New Disclosure Summaries
To help you educate your borrowers about our required disclosures, we have added Disclosure Summaries to our Start Up and MCC programs
These documents can be used at the time of application to better inform the borrower about Minnesota Housing documents that must be signed at closing. They are useful tools for explaining the Borrower and Seller Affidavits as well as Subsidy Recapture and other related documents.
These documents are for borrower and seller informational purposes and do not need to be signed or dated.
Training Tip: Personal Property listed on the Purchase Agreement for Start Up and MCCs
  • Whenever you see personal property on the purchase agreement for a Start Up or MCC borrower, remember to use our Personal Property Addendum or your own form to remove the personal property from the purchase agreement.
  • Any items specifically indicated as “personal property” are automatically considered personal property and must be removed from the purchase agreement even if the agreement specifies they have no monetary value.
  • We accept eSignatures on purchase agreements and related addenda, including the Personal Property Addendum. We do not currently allow eSignatures on any other Minnesota Housing forms.
Upcoming Webinars
Training is not just for loan officers! Our Webinars are just as important for underwriters, processors, closers and post-closers. Register for our April Webinars today:
