P&T modifications to the guidelines and dossier forms for the 2025-26 cycle were announced, and updated materials were posted in March. The modifications are minor compared to the previous cycle but substantial in providing more guidance. A summary of the modifications is available in the “P&T for Faculty” and “P&T for Administrators” sections of the OVPFA website.
-
Most important is the launch of the new P&T Review Conflicts of Interest webpage, which provides more guidance on identifying conflicts with UEOs and Deans, internal committee members, and external reviewers. As a part of the guidance, a deadline has been established to submit special requests for an alternative UEO or Dean.
-
The P&T 2024-25 review cycle will conclude soon, and the Chancellor’s notifications to faculty regarding promotion and/or tenure will be sent to faculty candidates by May 9th. To honor and recognize the accomplishments and success of the newly promoted and/or tenured faculty, the OVPFA will host its second annual celebration for the faculty members and their UEOs and Deans in the fall. Names of the faculty will also be announced in the OVPFA Fall Newsletter and posted on the OVPFA website.
|
-
Mid-Probationary Reviews for tenure-track faculty and Senior Rank Promotion Reporting Forms for lecturers and instructors are due to the OVPFA on May 23rd. For more information, visit the respective webpages.
-
Annual evaluations of all faculty should be completed for the current academic year (24-25) by June 30, 2025. Read the Annual Evaluations of Faculty policy for details. A new university-level electronic form will be released soon to ensure compliance from all colleges/schools in completing annual evaluations for all their faculty members.
