Virtual Internships, Discover Law Resources & More
Virtual Student Federal Service 
The Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) is the largest virtual internship in the United States for undergraduate and graduate students, who are U.S. citizens, to contribute to making a difference in our society.  You can use your copy editing, coding, writing, and website design skills, to name a few, in this premier virtual internship program that helps to advance the work of the U.S. Government (USG).
Working from college and university campuses in the United States and throughout the world, U.S. citizen virtual interns are partnered with our U.S. diplomatic posts overseas and other domestic USG offices to conduct digital diplomacy that reflects the realities of our networked world. Application Deadline is July 31
Jumbos4Jumbos: Tufts'Alumni Want to Help You
In response to the current health crisis, we've launched a new initiative whereby Tufts alumni will offer projects/micro-internships/gigs that students can do to gain skills this summer -- many of which can be done remotely. You'll find these opportunities by logging into Handshake and searching jobs using "Jumbos4Jumbos" in the Labeled by Your School section. We're continually adding more opportunities, so check back often!

Look for the Your Law School Investment in MAX Pre-Law.  This is an interactive lesson that takes about 10 minutes to complete. It walks you through the intangible and tangible benefits associated with a law degree, while educating you and challenging you to reflect on your own goals and values. Law Experiential Opportunity

InsideSherpa’s Virtual Work Experience Programs gives you the opportunity to learn from top companies and set yourself apart. In the virtual programs for law, top companies teach students the skills they look for in new hires BEFORE they hire you. No applications or experience required for the programs --they are done in your own time, at your own pace. 
By completing the programs, you experience real world scenarios and gain practical skills professionals use daily. In addition to new skills, you will also have the chance to connect with the firms directly. These programs are free, self-paced, and it takes 5-6 hours to complete one program.

The Herd: Lawyers Network

This flash mentoring program is designed to provide real-world, beyond-the-classroom exposure, helping students build relationships with industry professionals by connecting current students with Tufts alumni, parents, and friends in mentoring relationships.
