During their time in Washington, Andrássy Fellows will work with CEPA’s team of experts and scholars to conduct independent research closely coordinated with one or more of CEPA’s analytical programs – Strategy and Statecraft, Strengthening Frontline Security, StratCom, and Bolstering Atlanticism.
Fellows will have the opportunity to showcase their research findings via podcasts, expert roundtable discussions, and written policy briefs. Andrássy Fellows will participate in outreach to the U.S. policy and expert communities.
Fellows will also work with core CEPA staff on a full spectrum of think tank processes including, policy briefings, brainstorming sessions, networking, and program planning and administration. The
Andrássy Fellowship provides a $3000 monthly stipend to cover living expenses in Washington,
roundtrip air travel to Washington, D.C., and assistance for the Fellow’s visa application process.
This fellowship period is anticipated to run from September 2019 to February 2020.
HOW TO APPLY
We invite applications from individuals with the following qualifications:
- young professionals holding Hungarian citizenship with at least four years of relevant work experience, or post-graduate scholars with at least 2 years of focused research;
- outstanding academic credentials and English language skills;
- demonstrated commitment to transatlantic values;
- an interest in at least one of the following areas: energy policy, nuclear deterrence, information warfare, NATO and defense policy, and/or Visegrád cooperation;
- demonstrable leadership potential and ability to work independently.
