| Jumbo Spring Break 2026 in Hawaii |
Jumbo Spring Break is the trip of a lifetime! You will make friends, have a very unique experience, and be a difference-maker in a local community on this immersive service-learning trip to Hawaii with other Tufts students during spring break. During the day, we will build homes for families in need. In the evenings, we will experience Hawaii's unique culture and have fun social experiences and excursions. Come to our information sessions on Monday, September 15, or Thursday, September 18, at 6 p.m. to learn more.

On Wednesday, September 17, at 12 noon–1 p.m., join the StAAR Center for Reading with Purpose: Strategies for Effective Learning. In this workshop, participants will learn techniques to increase comprehension, read more efficiently, and take effective notes, as well as organize these materials.

| Resumes and Cover Letters: A Virtual Workshop for All Students |
Join us on Wednesday, September 17, at 12 noon–1 p.m. via Zoom for optimism, practical insights, and best practices to help you craft professional marketing documents that employers will read and appreciate. We'll define the four factors of your resume/CV: format, content, messaging, and flow; learn to craft documents that pass the six-second test; and develop cover letters that answer three questions: Why you? Why this job? Why right now? You'll also learn about Career Center tools and resources to help you.

Have you ever felt lost when trying to find primary sources for an assignment? Have you ever wondered how the histories of organizations and communities are preserved? Check out Tisch Library and TARC’s “Introduction to Archival Literacy” workshops on Wednesday, September 17, and Thursday, October 30, at 12:15–1:15 p.m. in Tisch Library Room 223! These workshops will explore how archival sources can enhance your research, why searching in libraries and archives is so different, and what to expect when you visit an archive.

| Constitution Day at Tufts |
Join us on Wednesday, September 17, at 6–8 p.m. in Eaton Hall Room 260 as we commemorate Constitution Day and learn about high impact careers in the legal field. We are proud to welcome Tufts alumni attorneys and Professor Michael Glennon to share their insights on a wide range of topics, such as criminal defendant protections, your right to protest, free speech and social media, institutional pluralism and much more! The event will also feature a Q&A session and light refreshments.

Back on the Hill: Marketing Your International Experience |
Join the Career Center and Tufts Global Education on Thursday, September 18, at 12 noon to learn how to communicate your study abroad experience to employers. In this session, we will discuss adding your study abroad experience to your resume and identifying the soft skills you developed during your time abroad. There will also be an opportunity to practice answering interview questions. This session is open to all undergraduate students who have participated in a short- or long-term education abroad program. Lunch will be served.

| FREE Intro to Mindfulness Classes |
Are you looking to de-stress, improve your sleep, or decrease self-judgment? Counseling and Mental Health Service's (CMHS) free Intro to Mindfulness class can help with that! Intro to Mindfulness is a four-week class that meets in-person at Tisch Library. Classes begin Sunday, September 21. No prior mindfulness or meditation experience is required. We'll also be offering a Mindfulness 2.0 class for returners!

Consulting Networking Night |
Tufts Consulting Networking Night on Thursday, September 11, at 6–8:15 p.m. in Breed Memorial Hall (51 Winthrop St.) offers students a chance to connect with consultants (including alumni), explore careers in consulting, and build networking skills. The event includes a Q&A panel and open networking. Students are encouraged to research firms in advance and dress comfortably but professionally.

| CMHS Therapy Groups and Workshops |
Sign up for FREE therapy groups or workshops with CMHS! All currently enrolled students on the Medford/Somerville and SMFA campuses are eligible to participate in CMHS counseling groups and workshops for free. All groups are confidential. You can participate in multiple groups each semester, and there is no limit on the number of groups you can attend while enrolled at Tufts.
