Yasmina Botteron
When It's Cold Outside, Yasmina Botteron Serves Warm Customer Service and Coffee
Yasmina Botteron (she/her) with Portland Coffee Roasters earned two customer service nominations.
From Alaina Sargent, Portland Coffee Roasters Cafe D/E manager:
"Yasmina was the only cafe staff member able to make it to work during the January snowstorm. She worked by herself, providing customers with much needed cups of coffee during the storm. Yasmina crushed it by herself!"
From a PDX employee:
"During the weather event, Yasmina showed up to work and was the only coffee option available for travelers and employees. Through all the chaos, she kept a smile on her face, had a great attitude and worked hard to get through the line. Great job, Yasmina!"

What’s New with PDX Next: Ticket Lobby Updates
Ticket Lobby: On Tuesday, May 14, and Wednesday, May 15, crews will relocate two AEDs in the ticket lobby from the north and south weather walls to permanent locations next to the north and south elevator cores. Each AED will be offline for about four hours while the cabinets and wiring are relocated.
The following work is extended through the end of this week: Crews will shift one Southwest counter and scale and remove two counter positions and two kiosks to facilitate the extension of the temporary wall and build out the future north throat entrance. Crews will also remove one counter position and extend the temporary wall at the Delta ticket counter to the north to facilitate the build-out of the future south throat. Work continues during daytime and nighttime hours; you may also hear elevated noise during demolition.

Real ID and What Oregonians Need to Know to Travel in 2025
Federal identification requirements for domestic air travel will change on May 7, 2025. That's when the Transportation Security Administration will no longer accept a standard Oregon driver license or ID card to pass through airport security checkpoints when you travel. The time to get ready is now – consider getting the Real ID option the next time you renew your Oregon driver license, permit or ID card. To learn more, head to the Oregon DMV's Real ID website.
