| A beloved Resident Director embraces new chapter
|
Pat Scanlon, SYA’s longest-serving Resident Director, will end his leadership tenure at the end of this academic year. Since the fall of 2005, Pat has led an amazing team of educators and worked with intrepid students at our campus in Viterbo, all of whom have appreciated his vision, commitment and care. He will remain on faculty and teach Applied Agroecology, the course he co-founded.

Virtual information sessions and school visits have begun for future SYAers and their families. We are also excited to share that the application for full year and semester programs is now open.
If you know students who would be a great fit for SYA, please send them this information. Many students learn about SYA from friends and family — you could be the reason a student gets the chance to experience SYA!
