The self-assessment module in Performance Management @Tech is open now through January 31, 2024. Self-assessments give staff an opportunity to review and reflect on their goals and accomplishments during the year.
As a supervisor, we encourage you to support your direct reports by reviewing all the tools and resources we’ve created to help them navigate and make the most out of the self-assessment period. Your active participation is key in ensuring employees feel empowered to leverage performance in an impactful way.
But first, in case you missed it, here are links to the Nov. 28, HR Topics for People Leaders recording and presentation. We shared key items to build a culture of recognition.

Empower Your Growth: Resources to Navigate the Self-Assessment Period |
|
|
The self-assessment module in Performance Management @Tech system is open until January 31, 2024. The self-assessment phase provides a structured framework for employees to review the goals they set at the beginning of the year and have open and honest conversations with their supervisors about performance, areas of opportunity, and career aspirations.
We created a variety of resources designed to streamline the process for you and your teams and help you navigate this phase successfully.

There’s Still time to Update Your 2023 W-2 and Provide Electronic Consent |
As 2023 comes to an end, we want to be sure the details on your 2023 W-2 are accurate and that you receive the document in the most convenient format.
The W-2 is a tax form that provides a summary of income you have earned for the year. This document is necessary to file tax returns and can be used to verify income. Therefore, we need you to access your OneUSG Self-Service Account to review your tax information and make any required corrections. Make sure you are being taxed in the state you are working in and that you are being taxed in one state if you are working in only one state. This will ensure your 2023 W-2s are correctly processed.
If you cannot make the required corrections and/or previous payments have been taxed incorrectly, please submit a ticket here and your ticket will be routed to the appropriate team member to assist you with the required action. Any tax information in the system on December 15, 2023, will be reported on your tax return. After that, you'll need to take the appropriate steps to make any corrections, if necessary.
Please log in to review and correct tax forms, direct deposit data, and emergency contact info by following the steps in the article below.

Recognizing employees around our shared values is a great way to connect their work to the larger mission of the Institute. Consider submitting a nomination to “Show Your L.O.V.E.” for a colleague who exemplifies Georgia Tech’s values every day.
