LEARN MORE ABOUT WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS

Ms. Riley, Revere's Psychiatric Social Worker, offers a weekly webinar to all Homeroom teachers called Wellness Wednesday. Each Wednesday, Ms. Riley presents a different topic during Homeroom via Zoom webinar, ranging from education about mental health to ways to practice positive coping skills. Previous topics have included how to make new friends, mindfulness, gratitude, stretching, drug prevention, how to cope with the holiday blues, and more. Click here for more information.

THANK YOU FROM PRIDE:

CHECK OUT THE NEW WRESTLING MATS!

This is where your PRIDE/Booster donations are going! Brand new wrestling mats. Both the students and the PE Department are so excited for this renovation.
Thank you to all parents who have donated! Your donations go a LONG way to making the school better for our kids!

ANOTHER WAY TO GIVE BACK TO REVERE

When Revere families make a purchase from Enoteca Cinque by Cinque Terre West during the month of December, they will donate 10 percent of the sales to Revere. Have a great meal AND give back this holiday season!

CHAPERONES NEEDED FOR JANUARY FIELD TRIPS

Parent Volunteers are needed for several upcoming field trips in January for the 7th and 8th grade math classes. Please consider vounteering! All volunteers must apply and be approved through the LAUSD portal. More information on the application process can be found here. Submit your application now, or if already approved contact Ms. Gualano to let her know you are interested at gabriela.gualano@lausd.net.

And a huge thank you goes out to our Librarian, Ms. Gualano, who has spent countless hours organizing field trips this year!

CYBER SECURITY: STAY SAFE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

This holiday we would like to remind you about keeping vigilant of your digital privacy and security. The holiday season is a time when cyber criminals are particularly active. It is important to be extra alert. Email and text scams are now very sophisticated and can appear to come from within the organization when they actually do not. Additionally, you may get bombarded with requests to open a link or click on a button. Remember these tips:

If you didn’t expect the email or text message, delete it.
If the email or text message asks for personal information or for money, delete it.
If in doubt, verify via a phone call or in-person contact with the sender.

Also be aware of what your children are doing online. Talk to your children about the importance of digital privacy and security. Please take a moment to watch the following cybersafety videos which are each only a couple minutes long.
