NightWood is not your traditional holiday light show. “More than anything,” says The Mount Executive Director Susan Wissler, “it is a celebration of the vast splendor and mystery of our natural world.” The Mount presents the fourth year of NightWood, which combines scenic elements, theatrical lighting, and a dramatic score to create eight unique scenes. Times of Malcolm X

The Metropolitan Opera’s broadcast production of X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X airs at the Clark Art Institute's auditorium in the Manton Research Center. Theater luminary and director of Slave Play, Robert O’Hara oversees a potent new staging that imagines Malcolm as an everyman whose story transcends time and space. This performance also will be broadcast at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington. More info

Join the Berkshire Museum for the return of the decades-old celebration—the Festival of Trees!
