GVSU Recreation - Get Involved, Be Active, Live Healthy
WHAT'S NEW?

It's been a great year!

As a department, Campus Recreation offered many great programs and services throughout the year. Much of our success is attributed to our student staff and participants.
"It is our collective effort to enhance the college experience for our students by providing recreational opportunities that promote healthy living, wellbeing, and encourage student development and success. It is vital that GVSU provide students opportunities to get involved, be active, and live healthy." - Kate Harmon, Director of Campus Recreation

Recreation Center Facility Award

GVSU's Recreation Center recently won the Outstanding Sports Facility Award at the 2018 NIRSA Annual Conference. This award recognizes excellence in newly constructed, renovated, or expanded recreational sports facilities. In 2016, a $20 million renovation and expansion project added 50,000 sq.ft. to the Rec Center, and we love it!
