WOOHOO! BIG KIDS ARE OFFICIALLY OUT OF SCHOOL!
As a reminder - "Big kids" (Kindergarten or over the age of 5) are welcome to remain out of the stroller during class time. However, we ask that you and your big kids follow two important rules :
1. It is important that moms are providing a guided space for the big kids to sit/play as soon as we arrive at each station. This could be a pop up chair or blanket next to your stroller for them to sit on, a park bench or clearing out of the way of the strollers, etc. Kids should not run between moms during any workout drills.
2. We ask that nothing with wheels is brought to class - this includes scooters, bikes, skateboards, roller skates, baby strollers, etc. If bikes are in your park plan for the day, please just keep them in the car until the end of class. Even when tucked away in the stroller it can be tempting for those big kids to pull them out during class and pose a safety risk.
And as always, we remind you of the importance of littles under the age of 5 staying safely buckled in their stroller (or worn in a carrier) until the end of class.
Kiddos out of strollers, running or biking or playing, between moms can create a safety hazard for moms, prevent classes from running properly, keep mom from getting in the workout she came for, and - most importantly - put those littles in harms way.
Thank you so much in advance for your understanding and help as we work together - as a community - to create, and sustain, a class environment that is safe and fun for all.
