Moving Out at the End of the Semester
Non-Graduating Students
Non-graduating students must move out of their residence hall space 24 hours after their last final or by Tuesday, May 18, at 10 a.m., whichever comes first. Before leaving campus, please make sure to follow each step below. Failure to follow these steps may result in being charged an improper check out fee.
- Make sure your windows are closed and locked.
- Close and lock doors (both bedroom & suite).
- Remove ALL items including trash from your room, common rooms and bathrooms.
- Turn off lights.
- Sign the check-out verification form on your door after everything has been removed from your room.
- Return your key in the key envelopes provided by Residential Life to the key drop box at the Entry Control Station before leaving campus.
Graduating Students
Graduating students must move out of their residence hall space by Saturday, May 22, at 9 p.m. Before leaving campus, please make sure to follow each step below. Failure to follow these steps could result in an improper check out fee.
- Make sure your windows are closed and locked.
- Close and lock doors (both bedroom & exterior doors).
- Remove ALL items including trash from your room, common rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor spaces.
- Turn off lights.
- Sign the check-out verification form on your door after everything has been removed from your room.
• CHECK-OUT WITH RESIDENTIAL LIFE STAFF OUTSIDE OF TOWNHOUSE C-6.
