- August 16-23: Fall Welcome
- August 25: First day of classes
- September 1: Labor Day (no classes)

September 5: Deadline to complete the Student Health Insurance Plan waiver
- September 26-28: Parent & Family Weekend
- October 4-7: Fall Break (no classes)
- November 26-30: Thanksgiving Break (no classes)
- December 5: Last day of classes
- December 8-17: Reading period and final exam

This meeting is for students only, and for students whose move-in date is Saturday, August 16.

Your student has a busy schedule during Fall Welcome. On Sunday morning, your student has a required Residential Community Meeting at 10 a.m. and a required Community Meeting at 7 p.m. We encourage you to say your final goodbyes before the 7 p.m. meeting your student needs to attend.
Beginning Monday morning, your student will be busy exploring academic life, community living and St. Louis.

Convocation is a university tradition that will take place on Saturday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. CDT. Families are encouraged to participate from the comfort of their homes, via live stream. The in-person event is for students only.
