UNF junior earns prestigious Fulbright UKSI scholarship |
UNF junior Kendrall “KJ” Green Jr. has been selected as a Fulbright UK Summer Institute scholar, only the second student in university history to earn the honor. During the summer, he will study at Queen’s University Belfast, exploring Irish history, leadership development and health data initiatives aligned with his career goals in health informatics.

Before leading one of Jacksonville’s premier senior care organizations, University of North Florida alumna Bobbie Jo Mentz ’00, ’02 was building a path rooted in service, education, and family tradition at UNF, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s while working on campus. Her journey is part of a powerful, multi-generational Osprey legacy that spans healthcare, law, and philanthropy, showing how one family’s roots at UNF have grown into a lasting impact across their community.

Before crossing the commencement stage this spring, University of North Florida graduate Erina Kotreli ’26 was already contributing to research aimed at better understanding the protein interactions linked to Alzheimer’s disease, work that will help inform future medical discoveries.

| Lend-A-Wing Volunteers Needed |
Lend-A-Wing needs help restocking the pantry on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to Noon. Volunteers can expect to unload groceries, weigh inventory and restock shelves/fridges, followed by some light cleaning.
