Translational Medicine Day is a one-day symposium that strives to outline the importance of translating benchtop discoveries to a clinical setting and fostering discussion about cutting-edge developments in the field. The goal of the event is to highlight advancements in the field of translational medicine, and inspire the next generation of biomedical engineers, scientists, and doctors. BioScholars and Triton Consulting Group invite you to participate in the 2019 Annual Biotechnology Case Consulting Competition (BioTechathalon). Participating in this biotech-business hackathon competition is a fun learning experience that gives students the opportunity to engage in answering an interesting, real-life challenge that a biotech company might face. This course is designed for 1st year students (freshman) who are interested in pursuing medicine and becoming physicians. Learn what it takes to prepare for medical school as well as what it takes to be a competitive applicant. We’ll cover everything from academic requirements, timeline and MCAT to obtaining relevant experiences (i.e. healthcare, service, leadership, and research), letters of evaluation, the 15 core competencies and more!
