IMPORTANT DEADLINE NEXT WEEK
April 27th is the last day of the semester. It is also, for this semester only, the last day to choose to take a course for Exceptional Pass/Fail, or to Withdraw from a course with a grade of W. The option to make these choices will not exist after 11:59PM EST on the 27th so do not delay in making your decision.

On our COVID-19 FAQ site we answer these questions:

What academic policies have changed for Tufts undergraduates this semester?

What should I do about choosing the new EP option for my premed courses?

What if I am earning a C or D in a course? Should I keep it or take it pass/fail or what?

Will medical schools accept prerequisites taken with a pass rather than a letter grade?

Please read through them and make your own thoughtful and wise decision – not your roommates, or your brother’s or your friends’. Make your own. Don’t think that a Pass necessarily is a better choice than a B or B+. Choosing a Pass might be interpreted as your earning a much lower grade than these very acceptable grades.
So weigh all your personal variables before making your choice.
Stay Well, Stay Safe, Stay Wise and STAY FOCUSED
As we approach final exams, be sure to take advantage of the ongoing resources at the Academic Resource Center, as well as your TA’s, professors’ office hours and review sessions, and any online study groups you have formed to help you.

Volunteer Opportunities
Remember to check our COVID -FAQ on how to find volunteer opportunities during this unprecedented time.

This was recently sent by Tufts alum, Greg Mayes, Class of ’09, who is living in Maryland. He informs us that the University of Maryland Medical System is taking important steps to support its patients, community and employees by putting together an Emergency Staffing Pool.

Refer to the website below for information and for questions
https://jobs.umms.org/COVID-19-Emergency-Staffing-Pool

It is very possible that hospitals near you are doing the same. Investigate to see if there are opportunities for you to help.
Looking for summer opportunities or full-time job after graduation?
Be sure you are connected to our Career Center which is continuing to list options, provide individual career counseling and aid students in creatively finding opportunities.
