Dear Notre Dame is a campus-wide storytelling initiative designed to break the silence surrounding mental health. Rooted in the belief that "talking about mental health changes lives," this project provides a structured, supportive platform for students, alumni, and faculty to share their setbacks, experiences, and wisdom. Through letters and high-quality video storytelling—paired with expert guidance and resources—we aim to foster a culture of vulnerability and healing. Share your story!
Simply write a letter to the university sharing YOUR story. Whether it involves faith, family, friendship, growth, grief, or hardship—if it matters to you, it belongs here. Our goal is to show every member of our community that you are not alone. Submit your story here
